We have a lot of sunshine fans on here. I'd love to see how they'd have coped with the late 1990s. Getting dicked 4-0 at home by Wimbledon, for example. Stockport coming to Maine Road, and Tony Dinning giving it the big 'un in front of the North Stand. I seriously doubt they were around back then, though.

I'm a little younger so can't speak for those days. I do however remember the early 2000s. We were shit but at least there was fight in the squad. This is starting to look like soccer aid. Zero intensity, aging players are playing like they're afraid of breaking a hip. no one is getting stuck in. It's nearly a guaranteed chance at goal once a break is on.

I don't rate McAtee highly from what little I've seen of him, but surely he should be seeing some minutes. Has it already been decided that he will be sold in the window to raise funds for the squad revamp?
