Juventus (A) | CL | Post Match Thread

The club couldn't foresee a season ending injury to Rodri nor a bad injury to Bobb.

Coupled with KDB being out of most of the season so far, plus the same for Foden.

We've also been missing most of our defenders.
You have to put some contingency in though.
The panel is just too small

Yeah and other top teams get most of their goals from wingers, like Real , Barcelona or Liverpool. We have nothing coming from the wings, 1 goal every 6 games maybe.
I saw a stat on here weeks ago saying out of the rest of the midfield/wingers we have (excluding haaland), in 85 appearances this season they had scored approx 4/5 goals. Must be 100+ games now with 5/6 goals… we have zero goal threat throughout the rest of the team…

If any opponent plays a deep back line this prevents erling running in behind and he is pretty much useless as a no 9 when you strip of this movement

Fly on the dressing room wall
I would love to know what is being said right now by Pep

Not a single minute Pep is settling for this crap, He's a winner and would never in a million years be just settling for this shit, Even an injury-hit squad and players lacking form will Pep be happy to wash over this, Pep is a master and a winner, no manger lets players form slip to this sort of levels and still be playing every week.

Unless there is a plan in place to just hang in until the transfer window and then bring in players then I don't understand how Pep can let this happen or be still here to the end

There must be plans in place for new players in jan and let's see how much damage we are in and can we still turn it around,

What is it 3 weeks and 4 premier league games? worse case is we could be 8th and just above united
I think we could take that right now if new players are coming in in jan

No, but the signs were there. Gundo too slow, KDB past his best and injury prone, Walker erratic, Bernardo worn out, Rodri complaining about too many games...

Joke performance in the FA Cup final.

Poor recruitment in the summer, failure to get targets, offloading the wrong players.

We've been poor all season, not just the last couple of months. Without Haaland, we'd be relegation fodder.

The past is in the past... It's a shitshow now.

Its been two bad months. The past, as you call it was last year and three before that. Not twenty years ago.

The injuries have highlighted the downsides of a small squad.

We have managed to ruin one of the most rated young talents in the world in Gvardiol who looks shot to pieces

Players need to stop hiding.

1st it’s rodri

2nd it’s fatigue

3rd it injures, which is correct.

I get 3 but the rest is bullshit. Each one of them is not doing enough. That goes for running, passing, winning duels, staying switched on.

This problem reminds me of the team a few seasons ago that lost to Lyon in the champions league. Pep brought them so far but they needed to do the rest. Can’t keep waiting for him to solve all the problems.

The players really need to stop hiding behind all this shit and man up ffs.

Boo hoo you can’t win a game of football.

Sort it out pep and drop as many as you can.
