Chilwell i have always been a big fan of (provides a lot of energy) and to bring him in for 50m is a shrewd bit of business by them. I was expecting him to go for closer to 70m.

I will not enjoy watching them coming up against City this season, Pulisic, Ziyech, Havertz and Werner will be such a handful. I will however enjoy watching them as a neutral against other teams.

yes in theory, but in reality they will need time to gel. Many players all from different leagues and styles.

I don’t think Thiago Silva and Chilwell will help Chelsea create a title winning back 4 but their attack will be interesting. Goalkeeper is a major weakness.

Let’s see if they keep Frank or not after spending all these millions and probably delivering a league cup or FA cup at best.

No one is saying they will be title challengers straight away, it will take a while as they will need to gel in the same side, but give it a few seasons and they will be firing.
