Interest in Zagadou as well for Laporte backup. Our interest in Koulibaly is "well documented" but no contact with Napoli yet.

I wonder how Ezzy will handle this information. David Ornstein is tier 1 for pretty much everything and it's widely known and accepted that we haven't made any first team transfers yet due to corona and CAS outcome. Hours down the drain only to get exposed as a fake ITK more and more for each day..

If the Ake interest is true, which it most likely is especially coming from Ornstein, surely this could be as well as Koulibaly with Ake being more of a back up for Laporte...

Also if we are getting rid of Otamendi and Stones, having CB options of Laporte, Koulibaly, Ake and Garcia has got to be up there with the best in the world, easily!

That's exactly my thinking. Don't forget Fernandinho as well, he's an excellent option to have as a backup. Aké and Fernandinho as backups for Laporte and Koulibaly. There's plenty of gametime for Eric Garcia to claim in cup games and against weaker opposition when we need to rest Koulibaly. Garcia's time will come

Ake would be an ideal Laporte backup for various reasons, meaning the end of our interest in Chilwell, and curtains for Stones, right?

Is unlikely but would be two top signings and would sort our defensive woes, think Ake will go Chelsea personally, do they have some sort of buy back clause on him?
