Kalidou Koulibaly

i'll be honest and say I don't want Koulibaly if it's more than 65-70m euros. There's other options out there.

Why, are you paying for him?

If the club think he'll improve us then he's worth whatever we're willing to pay. Pay what it takes to be the best.

the "its not your money" argument is my least favorite argument and it's so silly. The club's financial situation should be important to you and if that's the case, why not spend 200m on junior stanislas, too? Yes, I wanna get good deals and don't wanna get bad deals.

well, thankfully Txiki is paid to do that so why not leave it up to his team to build us another title-winning side?

Do you honestly think that the club, who has walked away from numerous deals due to the finances of them, would put themselves in a position to not pay what they feel comfortable with for a player?

If the club is happy to pay x amount = no fan should give a single fuck about x amount.

It’s important, but it doesn’t bother me I’m confident those in charge of the clubs finances are more than competent and have proved they put a value on a player and won’t go over it. They have a much better idea than us exactly what they can afford. So I’m not bothered what we pay for players or sell players for I don’t need to be.

Hope we're not going to waste time on this.. De Laurentiis is barking mad, if the papers are to be believed Chelski & Utd are interested in Koulibaly too. Abramovich could just pick up the phone and seal the deal... Strangely he seems to talk De Laurentiis's language ... dodgy??

I agree - it’s not our money but in an FFP environment there’s only so much we can spend so spunking stupid money here there and everywhere catches up with you and restricts spending elsewhere. Everyone is trying to take the piss out of us just now

Untill both City & Napoli are out of the Chumps league then this won't be done

It will be sorted already if he's coming, its all noise from people so imo forget this deal for a few weeks or for as long as City are in it.

I think a deal may have been struck a few weeks back & it's just about waiting, we all should be good at that after all this CAS shit

Ake & Torres in + Diego Rosa

New contracts to be done then we will see 2 maybe 3 signings with a few outgoings.

Like I said until we are out or win it then nobody big or huge will be signed imo

I read somewhere that the Napoli president want 90 million!(not sure if it was euro) that can't be right post covid for a 29 year old.

Hopefully it just posturing on his part, he does have a history of being difficult.

Cant see City paying that amount for a CB.
