We’ve always had injured players. Part of the problem is the physicality of the league, you’re right, but also the number of games/competitions and their intensity. If Guardiola is culpable, it’s less his style and more because he prioritizes winning ‘titles’ and that demands winning games in all competitions. It’s one way of developing a winning mentality and satisfying a larger squad, but you only arguably need quite such a squad if you are going flat out on all fronts.
If we win the Champions League, we might see a move towards prioritizing that and the League. We’d have a young(ish) squad with a serious winning mentality and less need to burn them out.

but they will only get peanuts for a player right now unless manchester city or psg want them
a sellers market is now a fire sale ? and when clubs have to sell it means they have not been running there club right and but them in big debts by over spending

manchester city should not be used to get big money for players and maybe uefa and fifa should look at capping the value of players and wages
 
I can see Zinchenko going the opposite direction here. I don’t know if Napoli need a leftback or defensive midfielder.

Similarly, we have a raft of young players for whom we need to find clubs this summer, with selling outright perhaps infeasible. Difficult at both ends.
