Kalidou Koulibaly

I'm firmly in the club's side in this one. We won't deal with ADL for good reasons and I would honestly prefer we walk away than let him get his way.

So if that is the case, why haven't we already walked away and tried to do a deal for other targets?

ADL has Txiki by the bollocks here. Txiki knew what Napoli and ADL were like, so why haven't we aimed to get other deals done before Koulibaly?

I just don't understand it. We are going to leave ourselves short if this saga goes on for another few weeks.

Why are you saying things like you know them for facts?

So why isn't Khaldoon involved now? or let me guess, you know hes too busy shining his shoes and polishing the cutlery?
Then when the window closes he will turn up at the etihad and be baffled why hes not seeing Koulibaly.

Fck me, can you just stop with this nonsense.

Looks like we have a new drama queen to add to the increasing herd Dec! I am getting out the 'sniffometer' on this one!!

Flappers our in full force.
1. Ake and Torres crap
2. We won’t win anything next season
3. Wolves will beat us easily.
4. Txiki rubbish
5. Need cb anyone will do at this point

I could go on but what is the point. Every season the same crap gets spouted out. Negotiations are tough with Napoli it is unfortunate but expected. If we don’t buy Kk the club is crap ffs give your face slap and calm down. If we were after another cb and not Kk people wld be saying we shld sign Kk.

I trust the club to do all they can to get the players we need. If they don’t want to pay the crazy fee for Kk then do be it. We will buy a cb who will be better than oto, stones and garcia.

I have remained calm throughout, but i am starting to get a bit frustrated now.

We are nowhere near agreeing a deal for Koulibaly and the season starts this weekend (Monday 21st September for us).

I appreciate transfer saga's can be dragged out for a long period of time, but why haven't we aimed to wrap up other targets such as LB and CM or forward player?

We seem to be laying all our eggs in one basket in the hope of acquiring Koulibaly and then looking to move on to other targets from there.

This Koulibaly saga seems to be dictating our entire transfer strategy.

Do you believe Txiki is incompetent or it is a lot more complex than we understand? Gen q

this is becoming clearer by the day ?

the more i see no new signings the more i feel that pep is in his last season at city, when we lost out on messi
everything changed and now pep must be rethinking his future, maybe just maybe pep feels another 12 months waiting for messi is to long, he will be in the open market and city have little to no chance if a bidding war start

so lets hope the club can refresh pep and give him a new vision that he can get his teeth into once more at city
12 months or 3 years that's the time scale pep has got at city ? can city get messi in 12 months, can city convince pep that messi will come in 12 months and does pep believe them

so my points are ? maybe all the plans are on hold until pep and messi have sorted their future, will pep and city say lets work with what we have already and build in 12 months time

Do you know as a fact that your assertions are true?
Do you actually know that we're nowhere near signing KK?
How do you know we haven't aimed to wrap up other targets?
What makes you think that the highly paid, highly experienced professionals, who have guided this club to more senior honours in the last decade than in the 100+ years before, have put all our eggs in one basket?
How could the KK "saga" (where the asking price has plummeted from 100M Euros down to circa 70M euros) be dictating our entire transfer strategy?

And, are you actually clueless and on the wind-up or do you seriously think that you know better that the club?

Genuinely think the Messi saga has messed up our window. The club probably knew Messi wanted to leave weeks prior to when we did, there's no way we could have just proceeded as we planned when a Messi deal would cost us hundreds of millions. It must've inevitabily set us back weeks.
