Yeah it's a personal preference, I will always side with younger players and giving them a chance, especially with the quality I think we've got in Garcia, Tosin and Harwood-Bellis.
Equally if we could get Koulibaly for a reasonable fee around £40m then I couldn't really argue against it, he's a brilliant player, it would still be a gamble like all players but not crippling FFP wise if it doesn't work out. My argument is if the asking price for Koulibaly or any top centre back is roughly £80m then I'd much rather stick with the young lads, as I think they'll be brilliant anyway.
Yeah, I'm all for youth development and it's why if we do sign a new RCB who's under say 27/28 I'll be quite disappointed because it's just taking years off the young lads' chance to play more. I think Koulibaly represents the best value personally, as within 1/2 years we might see all the young ones ready, and Koulibaly can still be effective and see his playtime reduced without screaming for a new club in the way say a 25 year old if a 20 year old took his minutes year on year. I hope that makes sense at least!
