If Stones was on an upwards trajectory then we wouldn't be looking at bringing anyone else in to the club, the fact he's not and hasn't been for a considerable period means the chances of recouping even £25m in the current circumstances is crazy in my opinion. We might get him out on loan, I'd suggest that's about as good as it'll get.

We'd be lucky to get any fee for Otamendi, maybe 5-10m max, main issue is finding a team that would pay his wages.

No. Stones is most likely not getting an extension so this summer is the last to get okay money for him.
Pep is happy with Garcia despite wanting to leave. He played him against Lyon despite a fit Stones. I honestly don’t think Pep cares about Garcia wanting out. Pep knows that none of Garcia and Stones will be at City in 1-2 years time so might as well get rid of the worse defender of the two right away.

Definitely. I think Pep wanted to get rid of Stones until Garcia threw a spanner in the works and said he was leaving. This obviously made Pep have a rethink and opt to keep Stones for one more season.

theres an offer of 15m, which I think we’ll accept once KK is tied up, on the table, nailed on in fact... we ain’t getting 25m for a lad who brings more to the table than obvious talent, he has underlying issues which despite the help from the club, he appears incapable of burying.... fresh start for him and he undoubtedly needs to take it!
