I'm referring to the absurdity of trying to complete a 70-80m transaction while refusing to talk to the other principal. Either decide to negotiate with him or not. This middle ground is pointless and just makes things more difficult.

It kind of seems like we are desperate for him though? It's usually a tip off when you hate the other guy so much that you wont actually talk to him, but still negotiate for three months anyway.

Yep, he starts at 90m, we start at ubder 60m. Months of haggling later, we agree on middle compromise, of 90m. That is his tactic.

I have heard through different news sources and media that players would be cheaper to buy because of covid, obviously where we are concerned we are still getting our pants down and asked politely to assume the position.

I'd rather buy Chris Smalling than pay the numbers quoted for this player, there again it's not my wonga so meh.
 
I'm sure there is more to it than us 'not communicating directly' with Napoli, I imagine there will be some sort of relationship.

Sounds like an agreement is close to being in place going of the more reliable journalists from Twitter (£65m)
 
Obviously if ADL is insisting on €90mil then he’s going to get told to swivel, consequently I don’t believe he will be doing - for once the twat hasn’t got the upper hand as KK only has 1 year on his deal so we know full well he wants to cash in on him.

I think this one will get done early this week for about €70mil plus a few shitty addons.

Sorry, you’re right. Complete mental aberration, I was actually well aware it was 3 and don’t know why I wrote that, haha. It was all about his age and that this is last chance to get decent money for him.

I think we should be able to get someone for the kind of money we are keen to pay, I just think that KK is the one we want and no amount of bluffing is going to fool ADL.
