Just walk away City and go scout some unknown who will blossom. The usual been taken to the cleaners by piss taking clubs every window. Buy dear and sell cheap seems to be Txiki and Sorianos modus operandi.

Just read it on my news feed city ready to activate his release clause and arent prepared to wait until the summer.could be bs but who knows.If the club were interested, there would be movement on this.

Trouble is we are not looking for someone who is unknown who will blossom. We need a rock at the back who is a leader, and we need him now, not in three or four years time

Thought he signed a new contract this summer with a buyout that kicks in next summer. As I understood to get another year and sell next summer for €60 mill. They might sell this but it would take well over €60 mill.They didn't sign him up to a new contract this summer only to sell him a few months later for just £53m IMO.
