It's Aaron Johansen from America. Probably capitalizing on a marketing opportunity to become American team with Just March. He is not closer to the level of Phillips

Yeah, Brenden Aaronson. More of a winger/attacking mid and American (Marsch) so I don't know if it has too much bearing on Phillips. But, Aaronson is actually pretty good as well, astute signing.

We discounted his sale as part of the Phillips interest. We originally set it at £18m but settled for £11m because Leeds needed to do more business.

Harrison's goal on final day was probably worth £200m to you ;)

Without seeing his contract absolutely no one knows what it has on it so whilst I can't say it definitely doesn't have some secret clause in it neither can your itk people either?

But answer me this.

Why would a Championship contract have a release clause for a Champions League club in it?

If it is as low as you claim, £20-30mil which gets you very little in England let's be honest, why has it taken 3 years for it to be activated despite Kalvin experiencing a massive growth in reputation over that time?

Why would we reject a £55mil offer in January when we knew he could go for almost half that in the summer?

Grealish insisted on one when he was a Premier League player but the Villa board made it massively high. Why would KP insist on one in the Championship and why would we agree to make it no more money than we accepted of Villa?

If it exists and I really do doubt it then I would be amazed if it is anywhere near as low as you guys think.

Rumor has that Philips contract has a release clause tie with Bielsa. If the coach is changed he can choose to stay or leave. It is rare but not unheard of. But rumor is rumor.

How do you rate him as a player, do you think he would be a good signing for us. If his choice is to stay at Leeds so be it, but it is a short career and I think it would be a difficult move for him to reject. As a supporter of any club it is hard when a more successful club tries to signs your players (we have been there). If a buy out exists and a club meets it the choice is down to Philips, if it doesn't exist Leeds will set a price and it would then be up to a club to meet that price or move on. We will see how it plays out in the next few weeks. Congratulations on staying up I think the Premier League is better with dirty Leeds in it.
