Phillips will be a City player and if he isn’t he’ll be playing for a club who will celebrate not being relegated. It’s tough choice but whichever way it lands. We’re still the champions and Leeds are still a club who needed saving on the last day of the season. Not sure what it says about any player who would choose that over the champions. A throwback to a bygone era when players were thick and badly advised maybe ?

Then he doesn’t believe in himself. Most players back themselves to prove themselves at the highest level imo.

It would be an interesting signing for the right money and possibly great for the England team if Pep can level him up as he does with most players. I think Leeds will try and have our pants down over the fee and we'll walk though.
