Spurs have just signed Bissouma for half the money quoted
So be a "man" and lets see your £100 bet .. if NOT then STFU if you aint got the balls.mate he was easily the worst of the bunch, stop making excuses..
A guy who so far has a court case over him .I give you a certain French full back.Spurs have just signed Bissouma for half the money quoted
Including the four on show from the champions of england, luckily.....Wouldnt buy anyone in that team based on watching that,.
Grealish for me is different to this one. £100m was a ridiculous figure, but I could understand us pushing hard for someone who let’s face it looked a really good player at Villa. I still have high hopes that he will show us just how good he can be. We got glimpses last season and hopefully more to come, even if it will be difficult for him to ever live up to the price tag.this might be a bit controversial, but where does the notion that our recruitment team is incapable of making mistakes come from?
I trust them and they are full of very intelligent people. But they are human. they may very well be misjudging a given situation, like any other human. That doesn't mean I don't have trust in them, but I also don't have blind and cult like belief in them that I would classify ANY attempt to see an opinion different from them disrespectful or wrong, and I genuinely don't understand why some people here take offense to that.
It's the same team that spent 100 million on grealish, and I STILL think that was the wrong idea. It's the same team that brought mendy, look how that turned out.
On the balance they are extremely good at what they do and almost always get it right. But never in a million years would they always get it 100%, and I think this is one of those times. Simple.
If the rags signed him for £60m I would piss myself laughing.
I thought we were going for him as cover for Rodri and/or maybe as a 2 with Rodri, while playing with more attacking full backs, just to sit in front of the CBs. Possibly even with Rodri getting further forward, we’ve seen the damage he can do. Others have said he has a wide passing range, but I seriously doubt we’re going for him for his creativity. Either way, if it’s more than the £35m that was first mooted, for the relegation clause, the price is too high imo.Maybe. But it's difficult to truly write off a signing as bad if you don't see the club's motivations behind it. It's not going to be as simplistic as him being HG for example (although that may be a factor).
I'm not trying to change your stance btw, but it might be worth really thinking about all the more sincere reasons the club may like him as a player and specifically the qualities he brings. If after all that you still were against the move then the chances are you'd develop a really strong argument for it too!
