It’s just not worked out for Kalvin. We can’t win in the transfer market every time unfortunately. We’ll see what his character is made of and whether he accepts he’ll be playing next to no minutes for us and he’s happy to just “Danny Mills it” or whether he wants to play football and move
 
It makes a mockery of the homegrown system as he’s quite happy to make up the quota by being in the squad. Therefore, does the complete opposite of the desired effect.
 
it really is absurd how much pep has refused to play him.. honestly feels very harsh. crazy how low of an opinion he has on him. his positioning must be horrendous or something.

Must be from what’s seen in training. Unless it’s making sure he’s 100% fit and Philips gets enough time in training playing the Rodri role.
In Rodri’s first season he wasn’t good maybe Philips is the same but has had the Injuries that has limited that time too.
