Kalvin Phillips

Dud? hat is the way the press would have you think, we bought the wrong type of player for Pep, Moyes could well make this lad, it is his type, £45 million is a good price for an England player, we should get that in the summer of them.
Thats why this loan is good for all concerned. Good move for west ham, great opportunity for Kalvin to get his career back and track and keep his england spot for the euros and if he plays well and recaptures good form will make us a pretty sum in the summer when he leaves.

If he struggles at west ham we'll be lucky to get 15 million for him and then he'll most certainly be classed as a dud.

What is Manchester City getting out of this loan? Ok maybe a fee and some of the player wages be paid by West Ham, But I never understood what City benefit from loaning players to other Premier League clubs, Yes youth players getting some really good experience and game time, But players we have paid £millions for and getting paid very good wages by the club,

Cancelo is another one what are we going to end up getting for him, Other than loan fees and some of his wages off the books he walks away as a free agent,

Well in the case of Phillips, he's not fancied here, so better to let him go play elsewhere on loan until the summer when someone will buy him. If he does a good job at West Ham, they'll likely buy him. It puts him in the shop window a bit, which wont happen here. Also it's probably the decent thing to do for a lad who wants to get on with his career and has no future here, especially when someone is going to pay for him in the summer anyway. I doubt we're that worried about Phillips helping West Ham in relation to what we want to achieve this season. It's not like we're loaning Haaland to the dippers.

As for Cancelo, we clearly don't want him around the club, and he doesn't want to be here either. Best off letting someone else pay some of his wages and have him out of the way. Rather do that than have a bad attitude around the club.

In the summer window wee Davey Moyles was hard-balling us when we showed interest in Paqueta, and we subsequently backed off when the betting allegations were revealed by an FA enquiry (which quietened down after the window closed)

January window we are loaning our player to the Hammers without any interest/rumours in lining up a replacement first.

No buyer, no sale.
He'll warm the Hammer's bench and England's.
If City won't drop the selling price he he'll stay on loan (contract til 2028 with us).
He has to show something at WH or the loan story will go on. Why should someone buy him - to make future profits? This is high stake gambling!

At least he gets a pay rise at WH after all his passionate fight for his place on the bench.
All smiles.

His wages will be partly funded by City,

all the clubs always play the we are poor card and never want to pay a transfer fee or the market value,
It's so funny all the clubs moan about our FFP but will take a helping hand with a loan player

She’s like Bluemoons very own Katie Hopkins. Saying things to get a reaction. The weird thing is if anyone says anything remotely against the club, she’s all over it.

Yet there she is saying a treble winner hasn’t earned his medals. Absolute dog shit of a post.
Fuck off, he has barely touched the pitch let alone play on it

I get all that, but if we wanted a player from West Ham it would be inflated-value City tax, didn't we want
Lucas‎ Paquetá in the summer and they wanted a crazy price ? look good luck to Phillips if he leaves, But let's have Lucas‎ Paquetá on loan until the summer with a view to buying

They are paying his wages not us

We still need cover for Rodri because as sure as night and day he will be sent off before season ends and then we are in trouble especially with stones still being out . Like to see kova get stuck in abit more though .
But he could be cover for Rodri yet we’re letting him go?

It was like some of the desperation signings we made in the 2012/13 season. Yet he came in the summer on big money.
