Problem is when Leeds came up first season they over achieved with bielsa and it made all the players look like top level starts but when the wheels came of the season after we where looking at good championship players Phillips included . Probably a really good championship player who excelled in one season at the top just like bamford .

Not quite so professional now as some members kept saying he was when still with us.
Not every signing works and this one is now dead in the water, we don't often get it wrong but because we play on the top table both this guy & Cancelo are expensive mistakes.

I think if Phillips was playing in his own league he’d still end up having a bad game.Cancelo has been valuable for us overall for a few years. We kicked him out for bad attitude, not because he wasn't good enough. Kalvin is in his own league here.

Cancelo has more than played his part and was a key part of title winning teams. Has repaid several million in loan fees also.Not quite so professional now as some members kept saying he was when still with us.

I mean sure but the club had no clue that rewarding the best full back in the world several months before he threw his toys out of the pram was a bad idea.I'd class an expensive mistake as giving him a big shiny new contract but each to their own.
