Kalvin Phillips

Ah, is that the main reason why generally so many unrealistic statements are being made about City players' performances and market values on here?

That's interesting. And a bit weird as well to assume how other top clubs are managing their scouting departments...

Do we need a restricted "True Blues" area to discuss on a more realistic and critical playing field?
Woosh.

Folks need to chill with the Phillips hate. He is not good enough. We all know it. And his confidence is in the shitter.

Hopefully, he gets his confidence back and gets back to his old self. Eben if he is a bad fit for us.
Well said mate.

Similar for Nunes. Had a decent first season but some people really have it in for him. Give him the famous first season to learn the system like they give others.

Phillips asks for permanent move away from Man City - reports

Midfielder Kalvin Phillips has told Manchester City he wants a permanent move away from the club, according to reports.
The 28-year-old spent the second half of last term on loan at West Ham but only played a total of 396 minutes all season.
Everton and Aston Villa are said to be considering a loan deal.
All right then Phillips, lad. Agree to take wages that are realistic for your ability from another club and I am confident City can do a deal for you.

If he wants out that badly he would do it. He well knows most teams interested in him would have to pay him less than we do. As long as he insists he needs to make (for example).£150k/week as opposed to £85k/ it is just noise from him and should be ignored.
