This list reads like it was made by an uninformed dipper acrapping the barrel trying to make a point about our spending that isn't valid. There's a good handful of names on there that we turned a profit on. What was the point in Torres? About £30 million profit in 18 months.Indeed.

If you really did use ChatGPT, those figures could be wildly wrong. ChatGPT isn't designed to answer questions accurately or truthfully, it's only designed to give an answer that "sounds plausible" to the user.Using ChatGPT on that list, excluding Cancelo and Phillips as we haven't sold them yet!

Considering at that time him and Fernandinho were both squad players and not exactly the star of the team, and what Fernandinho went on to achieve afterwards under Guardiola suggests to me there was more than a decent player in Fernando, but Pellegrini was at best a bang average manager.
