Nunes is an enigma but definitely not underwhelming or belonging on that list. If anything Cancelo belongs on that list as Nunes production is way better than Cancelos.

Cancelo provided 3G+22A over 4 seasons.

If you're going to talk about defensive lapses people forget Cancelo had a shit ton of defensive lapses that cost us dearly..

Couple of Red Cards.. but Haaland won one game with a pen in the ending stages (where he took the shirt off).

And we're not hamstrung by Nunes's salary.. so yes he's better than Cancelo!

Well if you can find a player who can provide assists to join our team.. I bet the number of lawyers for Nunes will drop.

I'm not happy with it but it is what it is.. until we can get someone better, he's vital to the team's offensive production.

Last season almost no one provided a through ball to Erling but Nunes provided 5 assists to Erling!

I would love Erling to get 50+ goals again but the assists have to come from somewhere. Pep is FORCED to play him despite him not being "clever enough" for the center of midfield!
