Disappointing if this is the extent of our ambition for a winger. Nowhere near good enough imo. That said, I couldn’t name an alternative. Boils down to keeping Palmer and the cash for me. Mitoma is not crap but no better than average. Said the same about Cucurella last year and that turned out to be a correct call by City..

Agreed, we should either be going for young players with bags of potential or genuine world class option. A 26 year old with 1 decent season in the prem is a bit underwhelming.
