Kaoru Mitoma


Imagine him rotating with Jack. He has a unique ability to steal the show in a way few can. Edge of the seat stuff. His style of play suits us like a glove as well. I believe that under Pep's guidance, he would hit some incredible heights.
 
He has a great change of pace and agile dribbling style, à la Eden Hazard, solid defensively, he played a part of the seasons as a LWB

If we really are in for him, then what that means for Grealish? He plays more centrally?

Daily star have us linked with him. Now that might mean their journalists are poking around bluemoon for info. Either way it’s a very thin link.
 
If we did get him then Grealish could sometimes play through the middle where he'd constantly be fouled, winning loads of free kicks.
 
I know jack is great at LW and has that position on lock but why not try him in the middle? He’s got similar qualities to David silva in the sense that they can draw opponents in and also slow and speed up the game at a moments notice.

Maybe pep doesn’t think he’s too nimble in tight spaces? Certainly silva was.
 
I watch very little non City football, but did see the end of Brighton v Liverpool in the cup.

I loved that extra touch he took against Liverpool to create the space for the finish.

How it worked, it came from instinct and under pressure.

Not seen much else of him, but his highlights show other moments of class.

If our scouts and Pep felt he was for us, I’d be very excited for this guy.
