Karim Rekik is 16

This kid is our future he is highly regarded at the club.
If u watched the training cam on the website they had a training game for Owen last week and you see Tevez charging down the pitch then Karim slides in takes the ball and tevez out clean .
Tevez gets ups and gives him a look as if to say "fuckin hell" .

Looked very good for the time he was on last night. Glad to see him get his chance with the first team anyway, he's been quality for the EDS. Would've been nice to see the likes of Denis Suarez but oh well, we're in the Carling Cup for another round at least.

When he played against Inter in pre-season, he beat Pazzini to a header too. His block last night was excellent and he's so composed on the ball. Incredible talent. It's not often you see 16 year olds play for the first team. That tells us everything we need to know about this kid. Future world star.

Loved what I have seen of this guy with EDS.. was MOTM against Barcelona and from what I heard Bobby was really impressed as well hence he call up to the first team
