Kinda surprised at the interest that clip generated. I found a recent YT video by a Bahia fan discussing Kayky's situation. Went to Man City for 10M, experienced some success, won the PL2, but everyone agreed he needed a loan to find playing time. The loan @ Portugal didn't go very well and him returning to Brazil made a lot of sense. But he finds himself in competition for playing time against pros who display higher intensity in training and games. It sounds like Bahia is emulating City's press and he's just not performing at winning the ball back - didn't want to call him 'lazy', just not intense enough. The July window comes in Brazil's mid-season. The Bahia fan believes he'll probably remain in Brazil and won't move in July since he's barely featured for Bahia. He thinks he still might have value to someone in Europe considering his wages are low. Would be sweet to get the 10M back.
