KdB Interview in the Guardian

The greatest modern day professional footballer on the planet EVERY team in the world would have him . Level headed professional with values and the footballing abilities to go with it negotiated his own contract speaks volumes. He’s up there with the very best who have been lucky enough to wear the sky blue shirt.

Yes I like the bloke.

Like any really top athlete, he's never completely satisfied with his game. Because those guys don't compare themselves to others. They compare themselves to an inner version — the ideal player. Senna was that sort. So is Federer. So was Gretzky.
Senna & Fed two of favourite sportsmen of all-time, as well as contenders for GOAT in their sports, so good company.

Check out Gretzky too. I knew nothing about ice hockey when I first saw clips of him — or rather simply “hockey”, as the Canadians have it (I still know nothing about it, really). But I could see straight away that he was doing things that ordinary mortals in his sport hadn't even thought of.
I can still remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when I heard Senna's death at Imola announced on the radio. I was deeply shocked. The last time I had been shocked by the death of a public figure like that was Lennon.

I liked the sound of a mustard sandwich; never tried on in all my years but defintiely going to try that. I do sometimes cut thin slices of cheddar and put mustard on them.
Not that I'd have anything with mustard on, but I could go with a sandwich that had summat on it, cheese or ham, for someone else it it's their choice, and then a dab of mustard, but just a mustard sandwich? When yer've got the choice of a chip butty, why?

In my teenage years it was Heinz Salad Cream for me on Warburtons White sliced Toastie bread with heaps of butter when rooting when home after a pub session!

In my twenties I progressed to a weird but strangely synergistic combination that works for me....2 perfectly poached eggs with lots of yolk, Boiled Bury Black Pudding and heaps of salad cream!

It still works for me but her indoors objects for some reason!

Already achieved his A & B coaching qualifications eh? Get him signed up for life.

Hmm, he’s an intense bloke. He could be the new Guardiola, but the odds are he isn’t. I don’t think he’s very good at masking his feelings.
He’d be more emotive that’s for sure, like Mancini. Seems he’s intent on staying in football, so I’d rather he worked with our players, rather than some other clubs.

It’s all about if he can communicate his ideas to players or not. Pep seems to be amazing at that. Even players with the IQ of an overripe kumquat, like Walker and Delph, can adapt to his methods.

If KDB can do that, then he could go to the top.

For me, VK is showing more signs so far.

Yep, if he gets Burnley up, then stays up the following season, who knows.
