Brilliant news
I can never understand why they want to pay some leech 10-20% of their money in the first place, it isn't that hard to negotiate yourself a deal that suits all parties.
Well done KDB

A fair point but, don't pay the agent 5m and then you wouldn't need to advertise something to get that money back lolI would think agents do much more then negotiate a contract every 3-4 years, some even offers the full package help with housing, cars, investments, media related stuff, image rights, driving up further commercial opportunities and doing the negotiating on those etc.
certainly some of these charge the players a lot and the clubs too but I dont think most players are capable of doing all this on their own.
Yeah, I thought that when I saw it.Not sure which is more amusing in hindsight on that back page. Kev being a 'flop' or Benteke's pursuit of trophies at Liverpool.
In his autobiography, Andy Morrison said that he was sure he missed out on some moves, as he didn’t have a n agent.I can never understand why they want to pay some leech 10-20% of their money in the first place, it isn't that hard to negotiate yourself a deal that suits all parties.

I think the simplified version is Dunphy is the mouth in the pub nobody sits next toWasnt dunphy largely criticised for his reporting on jack charlton and not an overly popular figure ?
I guess if you want to move clubs a lot then maybe, slightly different cash amounts in his day as well, not some superagent raking in millions upon millions. In his autobiography, Andy Morrison said that he was sure he missed out on some moves, as he didn’t have a n agent.
I agree that agents are fucking leeches, but in general, players do benefit from having one.
If it’s only for negotiating a contract renewal/extension, as in Kevin's case, then an agent isn’t really necessary, especially as KdB did, he received advice from both his dad and a trusted lawyer.I guess if you want to move clubs a lot then maybe, slightly different cash amounts in his day as well, not some superagent raking in millions upon millions.
