Keano's cracking up

I detest the man and he clearly has an agenda with the FAI but I have to agree about the defence letting the ball bounce. Not neccessarly Shay as if the ball was going out of play - which it was - he was right not to go for it. But anyway it's done now and we move on. Although I was only 5 at the time I don't think the Irish were shedding many tears for us in '86.

Shit happens - as City fans we know this all too well.

The defence letting the ball bounce does not give henry the right to cheat. If you're gonna blame them for letting the ball bounce you should blame whoever it was who gave the free kick away in the first place (whoever it was - I haven't looked), but it doesn't work like that. henry cheated and it was out of order. The gypsy dog shagger is just using it to have a dig at the FAI it seems

so you'd blame given for the goal????

McShane should have cut the ball out.

Also, people are glossing over the fact that France should have had a penalty too

I keep hearing this.

When should France have had a penalty?

There never should have been a penalty, Given came out for the ball

Never, Anelka was one on one(ish) with Given, and Given came out, he made little or no contact, the ref made the correct decision and didn't give the penalty, and should have booked Anelka for a blatant dive, apparently we have to be grateful now for refs making right decisions, instead of just expecting it.

After even refusing to even listen to or watch his interview Ive just caught it on SSN by accident. What a bitter **** he is, he clearly has an agenda against the FAI and is Bitter that despite their 'captain fantastic' Ireland did very well in 2002. He's not an Irish Players any more and is not the manager so maybe he should have kept his little rant to himself or maybe release a bit of tension on his dog.

Dispicable Wanker of the highest order.

I'd blame the defence as a whole. The ball was in the air for a decent amount of time, some keepers would have come and collected it. Shay doesnt do much collecting from crosses.

Its more the fact that everyone is fannying around blaming Henry for cheating, when from a defensive point of view it shouldnt have got that far, its that reason which i am in agreement with that rag dog loving prat.

but you said you agreed with everything and keane blamed the defence AND KEEPER

RK reminds me of Robert De Niro's character Travis Bickle in Taxi Driver. Unhinged.

He makes a number of valid points but once again his world class ability in holding a grudge rears its head and the FAI get it in the neck.

A fantastic player but he hasn't got any people skills and doesn't seem to realise that few players are as driven or have the ability he had.
