Keir Starmer

And of course the guy who thinks Starmer is the biggest **** in politics likes @Rascal’s post complaining that no one ever says Starmer is worse than the tories.
Too be fair there was a lot more depth to Russ's post than that and a lot to like. The fact that you are ranting about one post kind of proves his point.

No his post boiled down to the same thing he says in every comment. He thinks he’s “the left” and you’re scum if you’re not in the exact same boat. He’d rather Labour stayed out of power forever while the tories burn the country to the ground than the party actually makes itself electable to the British electorate - and if you dare to think differently then you’re unprincipled and don’t care about truth.

The man couldn’t even get to the end of a comment pretending to be upset at the idea of someone thinking he says labour are worse than the tories without declaring that he hates centrists as much as tories.

I was referring to the Corbyn situation. I do like the arrogance though, “we’ll do what we want…we’ll do what we want…we’re twenty points ahead ….we’ll do what we want”
Starmer needs to keep policy close to his chest.
I think the situation regarding Corbyn is that to appeal to floating voters, he has to distance himself from the previous leadership. On the face of it this can appear to be a betrayal, although in reality it is probably just Starmer trying to increase his popularity across the spectrum.
As much as I agree with Corbyns' ideals, perhaps it is time for him to withdraw his challenge and ensure that Labour get elected as a result.
In fighting in the party is likely to damage the aim of Labour getting into power with an overwhelming majority.

Iain Mooney a councillor in Barrow has defected from Labour to the Communist Party

Seedling of a revolution.

Or a communist has decided to finally admit he is in fact a communist.

The Labour Party a few on here demand simply does not exist.

Just go join the communist party and be happy in your own skins.

Normally revolutions start with a base of popular support. The Communists have fielded a total of 32 candidates over the last 7 elections, although there were none in the last two because they stood aside to help Corbyn. On average they secured 154 votes per candidate. The revolution has some way to go.

I am of the Left and I do not consider people who are not of the left as "scum", i reserve that moniker for the far right.

It is quite sad that the liberal left fought so hard to get rid of us on the more authoritarian left and left us with Johnson and the Tories burning the country, but now you expect us to ditch our principles and help a party that I personally have little in common with just to get rid of the Tories. We on the left have been called anti semitic, marxists and fringe lunatics but now you want us just to sate your desire for power.

I get people want rid of the Tories, they had there chance at the last election but chose not to get rid then and subject the country to the disastrous Johnson rule, why did they not support Labour then, but demand we support Labour now.

Have you seen the Labour files?

Have you seen the Forde report?

As for your last sentence, can you put that in plain English as it makes fuck all sense.

It was a joke mate, it humoured me.

Can someone show me where it mentions AS in the motion to kick Corbyn out, please?

You'd think a journalist would ask the question. Peston did bring it up with Streeting but Streeting just repeated the same line in response. Imagine the response if a succession of Tories were let off the hook in this manner.
