There isnt a single point in time in modern UK history where a cut in the highest level of income tax didnt raise the government more money in tax revenue. Raising tax for the rich has never increased tax revenue by anything like the amount predicted either.Laffer was discredited many years ago.
If you want the rich to pay their fair share of tax - land tax is the way forward.
If you want multinationals to pay their fair share of business tax then turnover tax based on business sector is the way forward.
Neither can be dodged.
