Keir Starmer

Natural

I see that Starmer is still pushing his ‘my old man’s a dustman’ routine, this time saying that he couldn’t be mates with Sunak if they weren’t both politicians because they come from - as he puts it - “totally different worlds”.

Such contrived, tedious nonsense and what a message to send to people. He’s so unsure and uncomfortable with himself that he has to pretend that you can’t be friends with someone from a slightly different background. Playground politics.

If it‘s annoying you, it’s perfect politics.

It’s a bit cringeworthy, similar to when that Iain Duncan Smith was trying to be cool with a baseball cap but ended up looking like a nonce on the run from dibble.

Just why do they do something that doesn’t come naturally to them? It suited someone like Johnson. We aren’t really a nation of flag wavers anyway.
wasn't it William Hague that did that?

Unfortunately, we, the voters, have created this monster with our demands. Politicians have to fit a prescribed template and say the right things or they are fucked. Ed Milliband was fucked because the press reckoned he ate a bacon sandwich awkwardly. It's so absurd it's untrue, but let us not forget that we, the voters, are influenced by such trivial matters.

Clem Attlee wouldn't have a chance these days. Not nearly the right image.

The other absurdity is that we have somehow become a presidential democracy by the back door. Millions are convinced that they voted for 'Boris'. Sorry, but unless you lived in Uxbridge at the time, you didn't. But there's way too much focus on Starmer and Sunak and not enough on their collective of supporters.

He is bland but i cannot wait till he is in number ten , please cosmos make it happen
I think he will. Albeit in coalition or a small majority he can't do much with (if he wanted to).

The Tories are preparing their shit list of decisions that occured when he was head of the DPP. Which will no doubt contain letting off nonces and terrorists which GB News and other Tory outlets will happily spout to throw red meat to Garry Gammun and his mates.

I think the he has no plan and would take us back to square one attacks will extend to more personal attacks , i think he needs to keep his cool and just keep putting fowards what he can offer the country , if he doesnt engage then the public will see that the only things the tories have are insults , let them thrash around some more , get to the debates then starmer can show what he is about
