Corbyn has taken the Labour party back to its democratic socialist roots

And that is where we must stay, all these years of Corbyn will have been worth it if we continue along the path to Socialism. Brexit will help that cause, we will be free of EU capitalist diktat

This is blatently wrong. The best PM of the 20th century was no Blairite, the party he led created the NHS, built millions of homes, layed the economic foundations for prosperity and all after nearly a decade of World Wars and uprisings against imperilaism

I can only measure it up against what I’ve lived through Thatcher, New Labour and austerity now this.

Cuntishness politics wins through 2/3rds of the time.

Never said corbyn wasn't a problem.

But labour didn't restore industry and prosperity to the places that have abandonded them , as they focused on the financial services mainly out of London.

These places labour loyalty has been slowly eroded for a long time, brexit and the leadership finally put them across a line they were pushed towards for a long time.
That doesn’t make any logical sense, mate. The Tories have done absolutely fuck all for the industrial north and they’ve been in power for 10 years yet just won a landslide.

That's the con, the media made out Labour were Marxist, they were nothing of the sort. They campaigned on a reasonable centre left Democratic Socialist platform. Many on here were bewildered when I said I considered the Labour party to be too right wing.
It’s not a con mate, I think it might be a con whoever is telling you it’s centre left. I heard John McDonnell say the same thing and I burst out laughing.

Renationalising the railways, water, electricity, BT and providing free broadband for all and setting up a national investment bank, increasing corporation tax for all business turning over more than £300k (which would include most corner shops in this country), moving to a 4 day working week, giving private tenants the right to buy the property they rent, they’re not centre left policies, mate. They’re Maxist policies.

If you don’t think they’re left wing enough, I can only assume you haven’t seen what’s been happening in Venezuela?

I would resign my membership in disgust if he got elected. It was the likes of him who forced the contrarian position on the EU,when we should always have been the party of Leave. Benn and his ilk put siding with the capitalists before siding with our people.

He is as much to blame for Johnson as anyone.
“Our people”?? I’m starting to think you’re either trolling the thread or just completely misinformed.

More Labour voters voted remain than leave. The opposite is true of the Tories.
