I read an article over the weekend that reasoned social media has killed the Labour Party. That it overrepresents fringe issues that are pushed by younger more activist users and it puts Labour officials in a position where they play to the crowd which gets support from them but it's not representative of the broader public. While also providing right wing hacks the chance to caricature and stoke fears to the older people outside of the cities who think the Labour Party has ignored them because they're told by their media sources like the Daily Mail, The Sun, Talkradio etc that things like supporting BLM means you hate Britain.
Easier to nationalise the railways. Just let franchises run out. No compensation needed for shareholders.We all know, sadly the only ideas that will come from the Labour party are revamped left wing polices that the electorate have rejected time and time again.
Re-nationalizing the railways was pure self interest from the rail union, if labour was serious surely they should have started with Water, electricity and gas.
