Keir Starmer

Some PLP members have got a good screw, with a few side jobs to keep them busy from doing stuff such as challenging the government of the day. One of them even said "They we're fucking terrified" about taking power in 2017 had Labour won. That came from another now former MP I was speaking to at a Union event.

They put Keir in to maintain this and expect him to do what Blair did within the party to gut the democratic reforms given to the members by Corbyn so they can continue their nice little earners.

It's the only thing they pursue with any enthusiasm....

Keir Starmer expected to back purge of far-left Labour factions

The guardian provides the obligatory bullshit headline.

I like the hypocrisy of someone so obese their chair is buckling, calling out under 25s as being too lazy to get off their backsides.

Awful, awful people.

An event entirely manufactured to further the Starmer/Mandelson 90s revival.

These people are plucked from central casting, wheeled out for the establishment broadcaster, their contributions obligingly chopped and edited and Bingo! The solution to Labour's problems it turns out! Is to become New Labour!

Quelle surprise!

Will be back vaccine passports?
He would bend over if Boris said so

"The Establishment decided Thatcher's ideas were safer with a strong Blair government than with a weak Major government. We are given all these personalities to choose between to disguise the fact that the policies are the same." ~ Tony Benn

The establishment have decided those ideas are now safe with a Starmer led Labour Labour party, Corbyn was the real threat to the establishment and he was dealt with accordingly and he was alienated by many despite him increasing the Labour vote share by more than Blair managed after 17 years of Tory rule and only slightly less than Atlee managed.

If the Left of the Labour is constantly marginalised, constantly told we are dinosaurs, constantly lied about and misrepresented what you get is never ending Tory rule, either in the form of the Tory party or a right wing Labour party that the establishment feel comfortable with.

Labour representatives are more about keeping themselves on the gravy train than the Conservative’s care about the populous.

Says it all.

I despise the Guardian and two years ago now I stopped buying the Observer, Ihad bought the Observer since my teens but it was taken over by the liberal Guardianista and ruined.
I'm don't know what the correct adjective is for this version of the left. I did think liberal, but there's not much liberal about these fuckers.

See he’s out again telling everyone what he won’t/wouldn’t do. I remember when the LOTO used to tell people at least a few things he would do but not this feller.

Many on the right refer to them as liberal fascists, they purport that because they control academia they control the import of values onto society and those values are intolerant of dissent.

A quick google search gives you the likes of this guy who writes the following

"It is my belief that the impact of this intolerance on society is both far-reaching and damaging. One of the problems with intolerant world views and ideologies is that they require unquestioning adherence to a specific set of beliefs and values, even when these are shown to be harmful to individuals and wider society. Conformity is more important than truth. The liberal fascist's commitment to political correctness and their belief in the superiority of liberal values has led to a situation in which 'correct belief' is valued above evidence and reason, often to the detriment of society. So, for many years British society has been unable to have a grownup discussion about mass immigration because those who questioned its benefit and impact were accused of racism. Equally, the grooming of mainly white girls by predominantly Asian gangs in places like Rotherham and Newcastle was not dealt with effectively by the authorities, in part because of sensitivities around the race of the perpetrators. Similarly, the whole issue of gender identity and transgenderism appears to be driven by ideological considerations, rather than evidence and reason. Some are already questioning the negative impact of this upon vulnerable children and there is concern that this ideology is leading to damaging and inappropriate medical intervention."

As you can see it is classic Tiny Tommy ten names stuff.
