Keir Starmer

He seems a pleasant chap and come the election we may just vote for him. Unsure how he feels a penny drop in income tax helps out the working man in 2022? A £1.30 a week saving doesn't cut the ice no matter which way up you look at it.

He dances the dance gingerly and goes out of his way to appease the electorate with par eqsuisite soundbites, but on an electoral nature this man does appear to have legs. I particularly like the fact his party members are now singing their bollocks off for king and for country. That sits ever so well with me and maybe it was meant to.

Voted Conservative all my life but in this rudderless economic playing field would very easily scratch my mark into the red corner. I feel if we went to the polls tommorow then a Labour government would landslide it.

While Keir might not be everyone's cup of tea, and certainly isn't mine, I think everyone should be backing him and his party.
The current government and Indeed the party they represent are malign, bordering on evil. They need to be removed. Proportional representation brought in so a Tory government never governs our country again.
Agreed

I don't think I've ever seen it in parts, if I want to watch propaganda I want some heroic music and theatre thrown in. Was obviously a hatchet job so was never interested.I
Aside from the odd clip I've never seen it myself. None of that counters the fact that the BBC saw,fit to broadcast a documentary of such bias.
If the Friends of Israel could just fuck off to the promised land and stop infecting our domestic politics with that shite it would be nice.
The elephant in the room

And this is how dense you are! You're so dense, it's shocking!

I expected politics to be fair. For politicians to stand on their merits and ACTUAL journalists to be as impartial as possible in reporting pros and cons of those standing. But this is never the case, is it?

Both Sanders and Corbyn were marginalised (Corbyn for antisemitism and Sanders for sexism AND antisemitism even though he's Jewish!) for promoted buffoons and then other more business orientated politicians inserted in false choices.

As you know (or don't, clearly), the MSM shoved these idiots down the throat of the people to vote against their best interests and look where the world is now.

But, I'm travelling an extremely tiresome old road with you...

Why on earth would you be so naive to think like that?

The world isn't fair and some of the most ruthless and poisonous individuals in this country work in politics and/or journalism (some like Boris do both).

It’s just idealism.

No it doesn't, but unfortunately they think they have to follow the tabloids. If only they had just spent the budget for this hit piece on making long form stuff for the news channel or a lesser covered topic on panorama.

I'd be surprised if they weren't as internally flawed as they were when they twice recruited a fraudster.

It's not naivety though, is it?

We've, literally, seen journalism tank in the last 10-15 years beyond what it's been before. It's no longer being the first to report the news, it's now who's the first to sensationalise. It feels clicks/ rating based. More salacious than ever where facts seems secondary and lies are sold as the truth.

The fact that BloJo was ever employed after being sacked as a journo is down to nepotism and Eton contacts.

The only idealism we should want is journalistic integrity and that is very rare to find in the MSM these days.

If you were to tell any Jewish member of the Friends of Israel, or any Jewish Brit for that matter, to "fuck off to the promised land and stop infecting our domestic politics with that shite" you would be accused of being antisemitic. Here is the relevant paragraph in the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) definition of antisemitism, that both the British government and the Labour Party have signed up to...
  • Accusing Jewish citizens of being more loyal to Israel, or to the alleged priorities of Jews worldwide, than to the interests of their own nations.
