I don’t mind Labour taking up the middle ground, or even further right, as it takes away a lot of votes from the Tories.

That’s why I say he’s playing a blinder, these small moves are turning the Tories, and their voters, inside-out.

Labour’s only chance of election in the modern era is to exist in the political centre. That’s fine by me too and brings them close to my own core beliefs. And I agree, he’s doing a good job letting the tories destroy themselves. The way labour finished off Truss was brilliant.

Prediction - Labour will win the next GE with a small majority

1/ The Tories trashing the economy will lose votes in their heartlands
2/ The Tory vote in the old red wall will haemorrhage votes to Reform UK with Tice and Farage at the helm - as ever it won't result in Reform UK seats but it will split the vote.
3/ Labour will win back some of the old red wall seats and could pick up the odd Tory one
4/ Big winners will be LD - compared with what they have now and what they have done in safe Tory seats in by-elections - as the only re-join party they will also take votes off both Labour and Conservatives who are dissatisfied with Brexit.

The polls predict a Labour landslide, they would really need to fuck up badly from here on in to either lose or even win with a small majority. Saying that, 2 years is a hell of a long time in politics.

Polls are not always accurate and if you look what I said I am factoring in several things that can come into play over two years - I don't think they will lose I just don't think it will be a landslide because if you look at polls on Brexit Starmer is on the wrong side of that curve currently

My prediction, Tories get absolutely trounced and shown up for the nonces that they are.

Just to caveat, this is not a Tory party that I can understand, at least the old party had integrity.

Believe me I hope so - 8 Tory MP's as per the projection the other week is fucking nirvana but you know what they are like they live to remain in power - I will only believe they are on their backs when I see it
