One step closer to the pinnacle of a managed democracy. I doubt they will they will relinquish the brand name any time soon though. Why else would they deliberately trash it for 5 years?

That is such bollocks - for a start they have to appeal across the board but given what has happened over the last few years do they not realise how many folk have to rent because they can't get a mortgage? What about the untapped youth vote? They cannot shoot at an open goal or take a free hit when it is given to them!! Even Tories who want to lose to blame the next 5 years decline on Labour must read this sort of shit with despair.

Broadly speaking, younger people are less likely to to vote than older people, and turnout rises as people get older, hence the absolute fear of upsetting pensioners.
