Keir Starmer

It will not matter who is next leader, because whoever it is will be subjected to horrific attacks from the far right wing media.

The greatest con trick of all time has just happened before our eyes and the establishment have won, they will be popping their champagne corks and laughing at the plebs who voted for them knowing they can now enact their capitalist wankfest.

The country I love is fucked, it doesn't matter who leads our great party anymore, we are on the way to a one party state, run by the wealthy for the wealthy and loads of fucking daft cunts voted for it to be like that.

Solidarity comrades, its all we have, keep up the good fight and stay safe, those fucking clowns who voted for the tories will need us at some point in the future and we will have to be there for them and help pick up the pieces of the imminent disaster.
Just the rhetoric that will ensure working class people will never regain their political voice.
You never learn the vast majority of the people need and want a moderate left wing party.

I think the result last night just shows up the arrogance of the knobs occupying the green benches. One lesson they will never learn is not to underestimate the electorate, no matter how long you have been an MP nor where you are an MP. Fuck the electorate and they will bite yer arse! The only sight better worth watching than a great pair of gnashers buried in an MP's buttocks is a sky blue winning goal! And my choice for the next Labour leader - a Gloucester Old Spot!

I believe that a moderate left of centre Labour party would have won this election. Sure Brexit was a big influence but also hard working labour voters arnt thick , they realise that you can't just spend that kind of money that Corbyn was talking about without borrowing huge sums. Corbyn himself and his team were also pretty unelectable. Alan Johnson summed it up perfectly last night the cult of momentum has f***** the Labour party.

You may never realise that the capitalist establishment want you to think that so there interests are protected.

People have voted for homelessness and hunger, for the rich to enrich themselves further and for the corporitisation of the UK on a scale unimaginable.

We have got exactly what we deserve and that scares the shit out of me..

@Rascal unfortunately mate your politics just isn’t popular and neither is Corbyn’s.

The UK haven’t voted for socialists since the 70’s and Labour’s mistake is that someone who was capitalist but will put enough money into public funding wasn’t selected as leader.

They need a centre to have any chance next time and it’s going to have to be one of those that have been chased away by Momentum.

Keir Starmer is the favourite. I like him but not sure he's the kind of guy the northern towns will flood back to. I think he'd murder Boris at pmq's.

Second favourite is Rebecca Long-Bailey. Northern, female and could unite the left and centre of the party. Might annoy people with her style.

For me I'd prefer Keir but Rebecca is a strong candidate and might be the best option.

A labour party that stuck to a Bennite position would have won. There is no point in a Blairite labour party, no point at all.

You can go more to the left than Blair and have a chance.

Ed Miliband’s policies would have a chance, if the person leading it was less of a geek.
