He was on the Andrew Marr show and came out with this, when asked about Bernie Sanders saying political parties must stand with the working class: 'With respect to Bernie Sanders if he'd have won the Democratic nomination he wouldn't have beat Donald trump... America would be under Trumpism!'

In itself it’s a shocker of a statement but also proves what a know nothing he is. There’s much credible evidence that Saunders would have beaten Trump and the world might look somewhat different, had that happened.
Still, a shadow health secretary, representing the Labour Party, taking donations from MPM connect, a company that not only lobbies on privatisation of healthcare but actively seeks out NHS trained medics to join their ‘transition from NHS to private practice’, really needs to be moved on in case he ever gets his hands anywhere near the tiller of power. I fear however he’s just the next Tory light cab off the rank with no ambition to make this country’s worse off, any better off, whilst continuing the tradition of making the very well off, much more well off!

He fancies himself as a future leader and already has a faction ready to attack if needs be.

Funny how that doesn't get reported in the press.

Streeting is an odious fucker, but then the PLP is not short of them. Reeves, Kinnock, Reed, Kyle, Reynolds come to mind straight away. Then there are cunts like Luke Akehurst on the NEC, he blocked me on twitter for calling him a centrist twat with not a Socialist bone in his body. I think we all suspect Mandelson is the power behind the throne, Blair wields influence and the left is totally marginalised.

Posters have indicated that there is only a fag paper between the parties now and whilst there is truth in that, what worries is that the further to the right this Tory regime go they drag the Labour party further to the right.

I see it like this now

Left ........................Centre........................,,,,,Right
.......................................Labour.........,,,,,.Tories....



Having seen those five "missions for a better Britain" I think it is possible Labour are going further to the right than I thought. They could have been written by a group of primary school kids with a pack of coloured crayons.


The country is fucked and we have the worst government I can recall yet Labour can only come up with vacuous fucking rubbish.

What’s worse is, Corbin nearly won and he was Jeremy Corbin. Similar policies with a less toxic leader and they’d piss it at the next election. If they’ve got the city, the spectator and the telegraph on board they’re failing badly….
 
Bugger, didn’t realise Keith would get more stick on here than the media. Can I ask if this is down to the ’real’ left, or a far left?

If that **** returns then all bets are lost, the Tory Party will no longer exist and Labour can change their name to Centre/Populist.
