I'm looking forward to when we join the South Pacific Atoll Freetrade Bloc.
Sound like the exact same demographic.Brexit yes(disastrous decision) and Tory once due to brexit, Corbyn and co and the campaign to overturn the result of the referendum.
I’m 52 so I wouldn’t class myself as a staunch Tory given I’ve voted Labour in every other single GE I’ve been able to.
I am not however left wing like the vast majority of this forum is and would actually admit to being socially slightly to the right if I’m being honest. Blair and New Labour was a huge success for this nation but saying that in here will fall on deaf ears and sadly, called a Tory but eh ho…

Do you mean the South Pacific Atoll Freetrade Federation?I'm looking forward to when we join the South Pacific Atoll Freetrade Bloc.
Hahahaha Jesus weptIf the electorate are that daft to vote the Tories in then we may as well give up on this country as it will be a vassal state, completely owned by overseas riches.
Starmer will do a good job and should get another term. Just getting the Tories out will lift a huge cloud, Starmer’s cabinet will be a breath of fresh air.
Please, tell us all about what the Tories will bring ;-)Hahahaha Jesus wept
It beggars belief that a single person would vote for the Tories, considering the state of the country - and the revelations of how completely immoral they are that have come out during and since Covid (as if we didn't know anyway)! Please, tell us all about what the Tories will bring ;-)
People will though, some always will, but ultimatley they are gonna lose and that is always a good thing. It beggars belief that a single person would vote for the Tories, considering the state of the country - and the revelations of how completely immoral they are that have come out during and since Covid (as if we didn't know anyway)!
I agree with @The Future’s Blue! - just having the Tories out will lift a very dark cloud and give us all a bit of hope, at least!
Whether a Labour Government led by Keir Starmer is right, I have no idea - but I'd vote Labour led by any Tom, Dick & Harry a billion times before even considering voting for the Tories!
But much more likely to end in forming a government.Vote Labour, we are less Tory than the Tories, but still Tory enough for you Tories.
How inspiring.
Hard to disagree with any of these.1. commitment to the green new deal
2. Investment in infrastructure and public services with major investments in the regions and nations to ensure modern industires are based nation wide and a removal of a london centric and south east myopic favouritism for investmemt and infeastrictire
3. Electoral reform to include an end to first past the post and commitment to regional autonomy from westminster
4. renationalisation or re-regulation of transport, water and energy
5. Creating a fair welfare and tax system that supports those in need and rightly asks those who can to pay their fair share
Take your pick, mate. Tory or Labour, there‘s little other choice.Vote Labour, we are less Tory than the Tories, but still Tory enough for you Tories.
How inspiring.
Except my usual spelling and gammar ;-)Hard to disagree with any of these.
It was better than normal, mate! :-)Except my usual spelling and gammar ;-)
The Tories? Please, tell us all about what the Tories will bring ;-)
Not a Tory, mate?The Tories?
Oh you think anyone not enamoured with Starmer must be a Tory. I have no time for people constantly promoting their side tbh but I reserve the right to be amused by the constant PR battle you feel you must win.
On a football forum mainly used by Mancs:-)
A breath of fresh air surely:-)Vote Labour, we are less Tory than the Tories, but still Tory enough for you Tories.
How inspiring.
Please, tell us all about what the Tories will bring ;-)
Which is why we need electoral reform, but someone like starmer isn't brave enough to do it or have such vision.Take your pick, mate. Tory or Labour, there‘s little other choice.
I think he’ll be bolder, possibly much bolder, once he’s in, but what a sad indictment of our shitty electioral system that he feels the need to be dishonest to get into office. A fucking farce.Which is why we need electoral reform, but someone like starmer isn't brave enough to do it or have such vision.
