He keeps saying how pointless it all is but you know he's reading every post and fighting the urge but he can't help it, he always loses the battle of not being able to resist responding to strangers with different views.

He even says he will ignore but then actually responds but as a stand alone post, it's so hilariously tragic really.

Perhaps you should both just shake hands and make up? It's an Internet forum. No-one is ever going to agree with everyone else especially when it comes to politics. I doubt you would be like this to each other if you met over a pint. It's an easy trap to fall into.

We did once I explained honestly the reasons why I post the way I do, he seemed fine then I think I used the word purple as in going from red to blue. That simple phrase seemed to irk him even though he said he didn't see it as an insult, odd. Anyhow i noted he continually chased a couple of other posters around the forum and with other things realised he has narcissistic tendencies.

What can you do, he doesn't need to keep popping back in for another round. It's only a forum.
