Nice to see you again! Your, let's call them "errors" were around you stating that you had never benefitted from free higher education and then in a later post admitting you had a degree. I challenged it at the time but you didn't answer and at that time blocked me. Another issue was around you stating that your council was funding stuff you didn't agree with(I can't remember the exact detail) despite the fact that it was "absolutely broke". At the same time you had revealed where that was and with a bit of investigation it became clear that the council was not broke but actually was relatively well managed.

Understand the sentiment, but think there is still a (small) body of Labour seats that are still pretty rock solid, plus most people on the left would see Burnham as an improvement on Starmer so that would also have a bearing on some undecideds.

Labour MP backs down from leadership challenge - but calls for Starmer to go by September​

Catherine West has confirmed she is gathering the names of Labour MPs to call on Sir Keir Starmer to set a timetable for the election of a new leader in September.

She says the PM's speech this morning was "good, but doesn't outweigh the results from last Thursday".

The backbench MP threatened over the weekend to launch a leadership challenge against the PM, if the cabinet did not choose a new leader yesterday.

Then, she added that she would listen to Starmer's speech and would push for a leadership contest if it wasn't up to scratch.

She has since confirmed she will be pushing ahead with her plan to remove Starmer - but that she will ask MPs to support calls for the PM to set a timeline for his departure, rather than launching an immediate leadership challenge.

A leadership challenge would require 81 Labour MPs to publicly back Catherine's call for one.

A U-turn against a U-turner because this U-turner was unhappy with his U-Turns.
Expect more U-turns from these two or PM supporters who may U-turn from their current position if more U-turns happen.
