This makes a lot of sense. We should do this for some of the EDS / young players we have here - Garcia, Nacho, Maffeo, Angelino. No more loans, just sell them off with a buy back clause.

I reluctantly agree, but only if we can find good clubs for the best ones. Not any old shed.

Kelechi is not playing enough games at City, to learn his job properly. It could also be that the finished article of Kelechi, doesn't suit a Pep Guardiola team. But either way, he is a fantastic talent who is currently not getting the football education he should. Talking to him is no good now, he needs to be out there doing it.

If Pep felt he was good enough to start, he would be in the starting 11 more. The lad is a goal scorer and will only keep getting better but I just dont see (yet!) the complete player that Pep is looking for. A loan deal or sale with option to buy-back might be the best thing for him and the club, in the short term..

Olumide Olowu (agent) to @CompleteSports: "Iheanacho needs to leave Man City and he will find a better place to continue his young career."

Olowu: "I'm not speaking for Iheanacho, but as someone involved in advising him, I don't think he has been treated fairly by Guardiola..."

I think Pep is pretty fortunate that Iheanacho isnt English. If he was I guess the media would've (righlty so) bashed him for his treatment of Kelechi.

Exactly, although I believe given our connections with Girona, we can successfully loan maybe 2 players there. Maffeo definitely and possibly even Garcia although there are indications Garcia may have a place in the squad. I think Girona would be a great place for P. Roberts to go to as well. He has really excelled at Celtic but I am skeptical if he can really challenge Sterling, Sane, etc. for a place right now. Sale and buyback would be great for Angelino and probably Unal who has been linked to B. Dortmund and Lazio recently both great clubs/leagues for him. We have many young players with a great amount of potential that are begging for consistent first team action. If we handle them properly we may see them become world class players and hopefully make it back into our first team.

I can only think that Pep doesn`t see a great deal in the lad and he actually doesn`t rate him.Personally I`m not convinced either but thats probably down to limited game time.He started off like an express train, but as of late the poor lad doesn`t look as if he could trap and control a bag of cement.
Maybe a move away on loan would be best to see if he can cope with PL pressures, assuming that a PL Club would indeed take him and help nurture the lad.As long as its not with Tony Pulis.

Have they gained promotion to La liga yet?

They are 7 points clear of 3rd with 6 to go, top 2 are automatically promoted. They should make it comfortably, but even if results go their way it'll take another few weeks to be confirmed.

Great news. Hopefully we should have at least 4 EDS players there in the starting 11. Would love to see the likes of Maffeo, Garcia, Unal , Roberts and possibly Nacho slug it out against top quality players in La liga. If Girona can guarantee at least 25 games to our loanees then I think we would have seen enough to decide on who could possibly have a future here and who wouldn't. I am not sure if its possible but I would love if we could terminate Moreno's loan deal at Depor and send him out to Girona. With Girona promotion, we have the option of switching some of our players from the eredevise to La liga and vice versa to give them more exposure and adaptability. Wish we could get a grip on one of the germa lower league teams on the verge of gaining promotion to the BuLi so we could spread our players across Europe. Keeping a player in the EDS at the age of 18 is a waste of time, we should push them all out and force their development. We should have an aggressive, fast tracked "swim or sink" development model for our young players.
