Kelechi Iheanacho

Martins was starring in the Champions League latter stages for Inter at the same age as Kelechi; by '23' his career was the epitome of obscurity.

I do like Kelechi, but I wouldn't bank on him until he's had two/three years in men's football before making an accurate judgement.

Would be interesting to get the Nigerian fella's insight into the alleged age falsifying of players such as Kanu and Taribo West, and whether it's still as rife as it was in the 90's/early 2000's.
On the last point, I believe Kelechi is using his real age, our Football federation actually did something right by starting our youth players from U13's almost a decade ago to fight this. Kelechi is one of the players that was part of it and there's at least picture evidence (something we rarely have to confirm their ages) of him coming to England in 2011 I believe, they even won a tournament against the likes of the youth teams of Arsenal, City, etc....

The World Cup involves more than just African players.

How the fuck this point has flown by, i have no idea.

Good luck with your hobby.
What does it tell you that Nigeria couldn't win the African version then?

You're the one trying to convince me he's better than Success and I'm telling you the only two tournaments they've both participated in (and were both fit) was the CAF U17 and the current U20 World Cup, success has been the more impressive player and I doubt he'd even make Granada's first team, just take a look at that Ghanaian Agboagye that won the bronze ball in 2013.

Why don't we wait and see who will turn oit better? No one is going to change their opinion and only time will tell for now.

Nothing is decided at 17 years of age.

On for last 10 mins,currently 2-0 up.

And again, he plays almost as a CM. In fact, probably it was meant to be behind the striker, which is fine, but because they mostly just defended the score, he really dropped back deep. His job was basically just to protect the ball and pass it (backwards) as safe as it is possible, so it is hard to judge after these 10 minutes. He took his simple job well.

So far Taiwo Awoniyi had stolen both Isaac Success's and Kelechi Iheanacho's thunder. Manu Garba going for players from the squad that were part of his AYC team.

It goes without saying (But not for everybody unfortunately).

Don't like that guesswork like whether he will fail or not, although Kelechi has shown some awesome different skills (especially cool-blooded and finishing) and the waiting of him to be playing in the 1st team again is mouthwatering

Obviously it tells you that the African Cup is better than the World Cup. Or perhaps not, seeing as they got arsefucked by Brazil in this one.

Kelechi was the best player in the U17 World Cup. A competition which involves teams other than those from Africa. That was the last time he was 100% match fit. He was the star of that team.

Can't you understand that it doesn't matter since another guy played a bit better than him in the African youf Cup 2 years ago? This is what's really vital and crucial

Before you start typing obvious things, I'd like to say that this is [obviously] sarcasm. Don't see why argue if that nigerian guy seriously thinks that AfricanNations Youth Cup is a more competitive/vital tournament than WC u17
