Really looking forward to seeing this lad play in some competitive games for our first team.
Was impressed by his cameo appearances in the tour of USA.

I thought there was some issues with his Visa/Eligibility to play for us?
He may need more international games first or something, I'm unsure.

He won best player at the U17 World Cup so easily qualifies for a work permit under the exceptional talent ruling. The issue is his age not his nationality.
Well, Carlos Vela was the top scorer and won the Adidas Golden Boot in the U17 World Cup in 2005, but wasn't granted a work permit before 2008. I reckon we may see something similar happen with Kelechi. Loan(s) abroad for two or three seasons, before returning to us. Hope not, though. Would like to have him as our fourth striker now, as he looks like a fantastic talent.

Soule Coulibaly won it and signed for Spurs more recently, I don't think he'll have an issue, particularly if we plan to play him in our first team.

Didn't know that. Thanks. Hope you're right and that we'll see him playing for us sooner rather than later!

As stated in the Negredo thread , we haven't named him in the PL or CL squad lists so he wont be playing until January

Does he need to be named if he is under 21 ?

Re: Iheanacho - Our 4th Striker?

No. We don't need 4 strikers, 3 is enough. Time to move on to the 4-3-3 permanently in the 1st team. We need 1 more midfielder to be successful in 4-3-3 tho. 4 too less if 3 plays at the same time.

Re: Iheanacho - Our 4th Striker?

Would be a disgrace if he doesnt get a permit when you look at some of those that have.

Especially as he's CAF young footballer of the year.
