Not going to happen under Pellegrini. Boiled my piss when i heard that we intend to loan Denayer to a Championship club.

Whether he'll turn out to be as good as his potential suggests remains to be seen, its already fueling some heated debate on here ! Personally I'll be very disappointed with whomever the manager might be, if he doesn't at least get a chance to show what he can do in the full squad next season. You could tell after ten minutes of that Kansas City game he had something special about him, a singleminded confidence and self belief, bordering on arrogance thats rare in a kid of 17.

I feel sorry for the lad, he is clearly desperate for his debut.

Manuel should be playing him tomorrow and if these lads can't even get a game when it's a complete dead rubber then who knows when they will.

Determined to make his debut and undeterred, Iheanacho again shone for the Under-21s on Saturday, turning the game around for the Blues in their derby with two excellent goals.

And he is willing to delay joining up with the Nigerian team if Pellegrini gives him a shot against Saints.

"I don't know [if i'll be involved]," he told M.E.N Sport. "I play for City. If they tell me to come and play for the first team I will come and play. I'll change my flight."

His goals against United came after the break as City came from behind to claim a 3-1 victory. After the game he gave thanks to coach Patrick Vieira for an important team-talk.

"In the first half I was so nervous to play and I lost many balls," he said.

"It was a big game against United, my first game against them.

"But when I went in the dressing room at half-time the coach told me to work harder and be stronger, forget everything and concentrate. So in the second half it was a lot better."

How long is he away with the national team for and will he be able to join up for pre-season with the first team?

The final is the 20th of June so maybe not?

Knowing Pellegrini, he'd probably loan Kelechi to Stoke, or to another club where the manager would poison the boy's mind against us.

Pellegrini can fuck off, he doesn't give a shit about youth, come on in the 2 years he's been here, only Lopes and Pozo have featured, and we all know why Pozo featured. I would personally trade succes in next season for youth in the 1st team, I really hope Lopes and Iheanacho will be integrated to the 1st team, they are both good enough.

Iheanacho will be part of the first team squad next season I am absolutely certain. He doesn't need a loan anywhere as he can fit in and play premiership football already imo. Pellegrini knows he has to start bringing some of the young lads in and he will.

I hope we sell Dzeko and Jovetic, and play Iheanacho as 3rd striker, Aguero and Bony being our main strikers. He'll get plenty of opportunities in cup games, and when Aguero gets his usual 1-2 month injury.

I know it might not mean anything, but surely it seems like a good indication that we aren't in the slightest linked to any strikers.

Of course, Kelechi's best position would probably be something like a support striker, so Firmino or Sterling might come into the picture as his potential rivals, but having Bony and Aguero, whilst selling both Dzeko and Jovetic should really open up a place for him in next season's squad.

Anyone noticed that Kelechi brings something different to the team? Like, a sort of confidence they usually don't have in his absence. If they could win a United by 3 goals to 1 that they lost to 4-0 just 2 weeks ago in his absence, then you really must commend his impact on thee team

Do you believe every media report as gospel?

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/manchester-city-decide-futures-youngsters-9135660" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/ ... rs-9135660</a>

Manchester City have played down reports that young defender Jason Denayer will go on loan to a Championship club next season.

The future of the 19-year-old Belgium international defender, along with those of fellow up-and-coming Blues Karim Rekik and Marcos Lopes, will be decided in the summer.

Hint: it has something to do with our strikers and injuries, and many of them, guess you can figure out the rest.
