Kelechi Iheanacho

For god's sake getting 'talent of the year' of a whole continent and 'best player' at the U-17 world cup is the most open and closed exceptional talent case in history. If he is on loan somewhere its because City feel that is best for his development. If Iheanacho doesn't get a permit I will be absolutely astounded. The only reason he won't get one is if the panel are blatantly corrupt, which I doubt is the case.

Trusting chap! By the way, I've got some magic beans for sale if you're interested...... ;)

So whats the situation here then, is there actually an appeal in place for him to get a work permit?

If so how long are we looking before he can join up with the squad?

This guy got a Permit as an exceptional talent, FFS

The highlight of his career

"In addition to impressing for Universidad de Chile in the Copa Libertadores, he also shone for his country at the recent Milk Cup youth tournament in Northern Ireland, scoring twice against the home nation in a 5-3 win."

But Carlos Vela didn't even though Arsenal forked out a fee for him following his nation, Mexico, winning the 2005 FIFA U-17 World Championship and with him finishing as top scorer, and his new club had to wait for over 2 years for him to become eligible. Let's just wait until a faceless suit in the Home Office gives him the OK before we rejoice.

Been thinking the same. Hopefully one of the journos who trawls the forum will ask Pellegrini the question on Friday.
