Kelechi Iheanacho

I'm sure rags are creating accounts and hacking members profiles recently... since when do Blues say things like "this team of mercenaries"?

And now on Kelechi's back for fluffing a few chances in one game(not to mention his overall game was good today) then bringing up Rashford at every opportunity(he has pace and can finish big wow... still yet to see him score goals as good as some of Kelechi's and as for positioning, reading of the game, link-up play and assists... forget about it, it's not even close.) he simply isn't as good as our boy Kelechi.

He's 19 has had very few starts, even fewer full 90mins under his belt, the potential is massive you are either blind or a rag if you can't see it... lots can happen to get in the way of him fully realising that potential but the same goes for any young player. I see this kid will go far because he "works hard"(sorry couldn't resist that one) and more importantly his attitude and mental strength seems to be exactly what you'd expect for anyone hoping to become truly world class(and yes this is very much a possibility).

Played clean through with no-one near him his first touch was piss poor, gave away the ball sloppily leading to Swansea's goal, couldn't control the ball when it landed right at his feet six yards out, and was wasteful on numerous other occasions. I'm not sure what game you were watching.

The game where he scored, linked up and, like I said, was decent

He is 19, I'm not overly sure what you expect? It turned out to be one of the most important games of the season, he was probably nervous due to lack of experience(see previous post). If he's making basic errors in 1-2years time then you may have a point but the errors you point out, every other one of our international players did the same

All young players make errors, one of the reasons Pelligrini hasn't played the youth players is because he is scare they will make mistakes. They will always make mistakes, the question is whether they have the underlying quality and worth ethic to play through them

So if he doesn't win the balon d'or and is gone in 2 years you're right??

I too have an award, it's not as popular as the one bestowed by Swales, but they all count.... Roll up, the biggest **** is.......
Happy to step aside and let you award him the biggest **** prize, after all he has contributed a few more times since I was too kind to him

I thought he was poor, you didn't, fair enough. We all have our opinions and mine is that he's a good young player with potential, but some are getting a bit carried away.

kelechi strength . according to whoscored . so many very strong stat . even aguero doesn't get as much as kelechi get .

Does he have to be the 'next Messi'?

The next Benzema, would do wouldn't it?

Had anyone heard of Agymang at Dortmund 3 years ago? Didn't think so yet people want us to spend 60mil on him. We've got a 19yr old who has scored double figures and if was managed correctly would have more game time.

If Ianacheo played for Benfica or some other European team, posters in the Transfer Forum would want us to spend 30-40million on him

:) I'll happily have this conversation with u both at the end of next season. Till then carry on packing fudge ;)

I don't think he should have been starting so many games recently but I think he should have played more throughout the season.

Hang on played in? Wasn't it a loose pass that Kelechi pounced on? A situation created by Kelechi's top class reading of the game(I suppose it's a coincidence he's been in the right place for his VITAL GOAL he scored for us today and quite a few of his other goals that he created all by himself... don't go overboard giving him too much credit will you lol) poor first touch yes but they marshaled him well after that left him with few options. Again good positioning and reading of the game to get in the way of their keepers poor touch but the ball struck his standing leg and he got caught inbetween otherwise he would have buried that, this happens to the best of them every now and then especially younger players. Great linkup play between both Aguero and De Bruyne on numerous occasions creating many very dangerous situations against them but I suppose that counts for nothing with you either? As for giving the ball away(even our most experienced players do that consistently this was his first major one) "leading to their goal" it could have been delt with we had plenty of defenders back but Ota decided to lunge in and concede a freekick which they were very lucky to score from.

I think you were watching a very different game than most of us mate if you think he was poor today.

Completely agree. Not ready/good enough to play when we are beating shit teams at home but deemed appropriate to play him today and V RM and Arsenal. Poor management
