Kelechi Iheanacho

It depends if it is true so i have no strong opinion either way atm.

If it is not true then ofc this is nonsense click bait. If it is true you are either going to give more credit to either...

a, See is as setting a dangerous precedent for the club allowing a bright prospect to dictate to the club in such a manor. A bright young player who has progressed at a steady rate but still has a long way before being considered in that bracket of pay.

or

b, We have a lot of money, he is a bright prospect and has raised his stock this past season. If we let him go and be a success else where and be shown to have made a big mistake it is unforgivable/deeply annoying.

If it is true i think "a" is where i would lean towards, it would suck if we sold him and he really kicked on however. At the same time though seeing him week in week out knowing he had made such demands would leave a constant bad vibe, for myself at any rate. Neither is a great option imo IF it is true. It would not ruin my week but it would make me think his character is lacking a bit.

Still, it is the mirror so i'll hold off getting my sulky bottom lip on for now.

Newspaper bollocks ffs people.

(But I will add this)

Who the fuck would want to see one of the brightest young prospects we've had at this club in a long time leave one of the richest clubs in the world over money? Yep, lets watch him light up the football world at Madrid or god forbid another club in the Prem. You couldnt make this place up at times.

There isn't a club in the world who would pay him £150k pw at the moment. I know Spurs are cheap cunts, but Harry Kane's new deal is only £35k per week. Nacho has the chance to learn from the best manager in the world, if there is any truth to this story, his agent is either an idiot or has no faith that Nacho will fulfil his potential. Otherwise he wouldn't be going for such short term gain.

Arry Kane on 35k, your aving a laf governor...even Daniel Levy is not that tight

Completely made up bullshit. If you have ever heard Lewis or Cross from the Mirror talking about their exclusive stories on talkshite it is absolutely obvious that they just make them up. Yes he is getting a new contract, yes it will be a big one, but no it's not 150k a week but let's say it's 150k a week cos it's that Arab owned club that we don't like but who are the rivals of our darling united and their 700 million fans

He can have 150k a week for me , a basic 25k plus bonuses bringing him up to 150k if we win league, champions league , fa and league cup , scores 30 league goals and wins balloon d'or , can't say fairer than that !

Tell him he can have £150/wk if he looks good enough to get that much by the time he's 25.

No reason his contract couldn't be worth £150,000 a week, but it'd be a much lower basic salary with an appearance bonus, assist bonus, goal bonus, win bonus and then bonuses structures over the season for contributing to trophies. If he scores 3 goals and sets up 2 more every week and we win the quadruple, he'll have earned £150,000 a week over the year, but in reality he'll be closer to £40,000 - £50,000 most weeks.

On Monday it 200k he wanted now it is 150k. Leave it another couple of weeks and he will paying the club to play

Every interview I've seen him in he seems completely reserved and humble. I can't see him handing in an offer like this unless he's dominated by a total viper of an agent. Which..... sigh.... is totally possible.
