You do understand that's to buy him back, fella?

Based on the supposed sale figure being correct at £25m?

So will only cost us £10m.
This is bizarre maths he will cost us £35M if we buy him back , we will already have banked the £25M . When a player is loaned it is usually the club taking them that pays a loan fee not the club that owns him.

It makes no difference to profit when you get paid. Goalmole is correct.

He was speaking about the year one margins, otherwise £25M doesn't cover £125M. I interpreted his comments as £125M of our transfer spend amortised over 5 year deals = £25M per year and Kelechi's transfer fee means we cover our first year but we might not get that fee upfront.

Originally thought 50m buyback was high but when u think of it's really not, he has a 4 or 5 year deal (can't recall), can see him becoming a 20 goal per season PL striker, so well either buy him back for a bargain fee or make a massive profit on him, Lukaku went for 90m ffs.

Ironic that we are making a profit on Kelechi Unal and Mooy who between them have played flip all for City in fact nothing for the last two
It is probable that we may be selling Fernando Nasri Mangala for less

This football club is not such a small time operation that we can't take an overall view of this deal.

If we buy him back we'll have paid 10m for them to develop him.
