He'll be missed - one of the last of the old guard but I won't be following him to Greatest Hits radio...listened to it the other day...one song then 5 minutes of adverts and charity appeals. Big shame he's leaving - a big pile of dross now inhabiting Wogan House.

Ive had Golden Slumbers in my head all day after hid last show today. I like Ken Bruce, he's great. Will be switching over to his new show. Looks like the beeb have fucked off all the FOCs. I prefer them, Steve Wright aside obviously

Got bollocked by the missus for laughing like a drain at one of the last contestants ever on Popmaster today. Bigged herself up claiming to be a "songwriter" and all-round artist and then amassed a whole 3 points. In front of probably the largest ever Popmaster audience and probably getting everyone she knows listening. And after waiting ages to get on the show too. You'd have to have a heart of stone not to laugh.

She was a twat, but youve got to blame the researcher. She couldnt have been the only one to ring in today shirley

Me and the missus were driving in the car listening to the last ever Popmaster and we both commented on how bad she was!!

I was half expecting a Jeremy Beadle/ Noel Edmonds/ Ant & Dec stitch up halfway through as she was ridiculous!!

Worst thing was, she just wouldn't shut up talking.

As for Ken Bruce leaving, he has been gracious and professional all week long.
I've listened to him as much as possible over the last 30 years and mostly enjoyed his show.
